Field Sales & Door to Door Supervisor

The Supervisor Field Sales is responsible for providing support to a team of Field Sales and Store on wheels agents in a manner which contributes to team effectiveness and supports the department’s goals. Supervisor will monitor and coach the teams to enable operational excellence and achievement of revenue targets utilizing administrative efficiencies, sales techniques, and process guidelines
Key activities and Responsibilities:
  • Work in the field and Distribution with the team addressing sales opportunities.
  • Liaise with Companies/Institutions with a view to finding new sales opportunities.
  • Complete daily Field Reports. Ensure product/service reports are submitted to Sales Director on a daily/weekly basis for all sales activities.
  • Ensure the infrastructure requirements for all promotional activities are made available to each territory - to ensure products and services can be displayed.
  • Ensure that preliminary checks, product offerings, site visits to determine community profiling, level of competitor’s presence, are conducted prior to executing an event.
  • Works with the Omni channel senior manager on the monthly planning aligned with the business needs and the network deployments.
  • Maintain high level oversight of all applications for the channel to ensure that all are processed.
  • Complete daily coaching evaluations and feedback with the sales agents. Create an environment where feedback is encouraged and used for growth and development.
  • Complete Cash/Swipe machine Logs, compile sales contracts and deliver at the end of each day.
  • Ensure accuracy in completing lodgments done at events.
  • Ensure that team meets or exceeds sales, revenue, and penetration goals as agreed with the sales coordinator.
  • Ensure proper execution of all Field Sales ‘Special Projects’ activities..
  • Work directly with Omni channel senior manager to achieve objectives and action plans designed to attain departmental and company goals.
  • Responsible for sharing of information, responsibilities, and assignments to sales team.
  • Ensure all Representatives maintain a customer friendly and professional image and conduct themselves accordingly in the field.
  • Ensure all sales are processed by the Sales support representative or the designated Sales support agent.
Qualification requirements

Education:

Associate degree in Marketing, Sales or Customer Service.

Experience:

A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a sales environment.
